Apathy (is an Energy)

I risk my life running to catch the bus,
I can’t be late, my boss’ll make a fuss.
All day I surf porn on the Internet
tomorrow I’ll get up and do it all again.

I got some jeans, just like these friends of mine
They’re already faded to save me time
I wear them to the pub on a Friday night,
maybe I’ll pull a root, I’ll get in to a fight.

My life’s so easy, coz I am a sheep
I don’t need to think much
Just eat and shit and breed

I am oblivious, don’t bother to ask
what I did today
It’s not your problem
If I wanna piss my life away..his life away,
piss his life away.

I don’t read books, I’m not political
I just believe what I’m told, not over critical
I got a car and a plasma screen
And I don’t know what consumerism means

The TV’s on just so I don’t get bored
Maybe one day soon I’ll win a Darwin award
It’s way to hard even to sing this song
I think I’ll just kick back and eat some
Highly Nutritious Breakfast Cereal
