Shit We Like is a collective turd that has been brewing in the disgruntled colons of the SWL team for several years. All veterans of the shitty mainstream publishing industry, the SWL team - known as the Shiters - were very dissatisfied with the blatantly biased and boring shit in most magazines and newspapers. “Why aren’t there magazines writing about the shit we like?” we asked. The Shitest movies - funny, yet tragically poorly made and acted. The Shitest music - rockin’, but with a naively misguided sense of machismo. The Shitest news from the worlds of half-baked science, half-arsed arts and half-bred pop culture. Plus our strange fascination with monkeys and Asian culinary faux pas. All things weird, crazy and cool.

So after years of sitting on the pot, we’ve finally snapped it off in the form of Shit We Like, a semi-regular column on emergencysquirrel.com. It’s unbiased by advertising sponsors, random, and regular updates can’t be guaranteed, but it’s Shit that we like - and if you don’t, then piss off back here.
